Simple Easter Decor with Vintage Ball Jars

Vintage mason jars are functional and so versatile. Over the years I have sold many for weddings, dinner table decor and more.

Today I am going to give you some ideas for simple yet adorable Easter Dinner Table Decor.

This is so cute and colorful – just a few bunny peeps surrounding a candle holder.

I bet the kids would just love to put a couple of these together! 🙂

Check these chick peeps out with a little basket grass and colorful jelly beans. So adorable, and the kids can eat the chicks after dinner!

And after Easter dinner you’ll have these beautiful vintage ball jars to use as a vase, in the bathroom with cotton balls, and so much more!

Let your imagine go wild!

Until next time – we would love to see how you decorate with vintage mason jars!

Unique Easter Basket Ideas

When the girls were little they just loved Easter, coloring eggs, making cookies, and then of course waiting for the Easter bunny to come and hide the eggs.

There was one year that they decided that they wanted me to wait till after Easter to get their basket. Their thinking – they could get a bigger basket for less money.

I didn’t think this was a very good idea, and guess what, I was right!! They cried and cried Easter morning because the Easter bunny didn’t bring their basket!

When John came along he wasn’t much into the baskets as the girls were, so I had to start thinking outside the box.

Below are some adorable thinking outside of the box Easter basket ideas, and yes some of these baskets can be found in the store!

This dump truck so so cute as an Easter basket, and what little boy or girl wouldn’t want one?

Now with this one, all you have to do is add a little candy, a book or 2 about Easter or some little cars & trucks, and you have one happy kid!

There are so many ideas and vintage items to create your own diy Easter basket this year. Right now I am looking round the store some more looking for more ideas! I love thinking outside the box!!

Please share your diy vintage Easter baskets with us. We love sharing inspiration!

Have an awesome day!

What’s new at the Ranch

Spring is my favorite time of year. Everything turns green, flowers start blooming and the colors are amazing!

It is also the time of year that the Bald Eagles are getting ready to lay their eggs. I have a few favorite live eagle cams that I have been watching for about 10 plus years.

The website links I am sharing are some of my favorite – they have an amazing amount of info on their sites and many more live cams to watch. Make sure to turn up the volume – the 2 camera in Iowa that I am sharing have sound!

Also make sure you keep watching till their eggs hatch – it is amazing to watch the babies grow and these amazing animals feed the young!

This beauty is one of my pics near my house.

This is a pic of my computer screen watching one of the live cameras.

Isn’t that a beautiful sight?

This link takes you to a live eagle camera here in Colorado –

Unique Planters

With the last couple days of warm weather here in Colorado I am thinking about planting flowers. Yes, I have to wait a couple more months, but that doesn’t mean that we have to stop planning and collecting unique planters.

Love planting in galvanized buckets. I have a couple of chicken feeders that are going to get planted also!!

I have an old mop bucket just like this. Just wait till I get planted and everyone is going to go nuts!! 🙂

Are you looking for old chicken planters, galvanized buckets, mop buckets to plant this spring?? Guess what – I am not using all of them. I have a few saved for customers.

Have a great day!
