Today’s Inspiration

I don’t know about you, but I need a little beautiful color and inspiration. Some of my flowers are doing ok, and then the heat in Colorado has made a few sad!

I am starting to visualize my garden next year. I have a new area that we are starting to work on, but most of the work won’t happen till spring.

Until then, we have these beautiful pics to look at!

I  just picked up a couple of perennials on sale, and I have an adorable mop bucket that I am going to put one in. Can’t wait to share pics!

If you’re looking for galvanized buckets, wash tubs, or mop buckets, we have them. Large selection of sizes and styles available!

Have a great day!

New use for old wash tubs

Oh man, I love these old wash tubs, and I LOVE them planted with flowers, but take a look at this kitchen island.

This is such an adorable way to add seating to any room, and storage space for blankets, or the kids toys.

Adding Color while Spring Cleaning

Spring is in the air, and all of us are ready to add color and change things up a little after the long and cold winter.

I am creating a series of blog posts that are sure to inspire you with ideas for creative and  inexpensive ways to change things up at the house with color, unique & recycled finds while you’re spring cleaning. In this series we’ll focus on one room at a time until you have added lots of new color around the house

We all have different styles and preferences without a lot of time. I LOVE retro & mid-century mixed with my rustic primitives. I am sure that you’re like the rest of us and don’t have a lot of time for up keep. My plan is to share ideas that won’t take a lot of time, and or up keep, and everyone will find something that will inspire them!

Each week will feature one room in the house until we get through kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, living room, bedroom, porch & garden.

Our first stop is the kitchen! Stay tuned!

Have an awesome weekend, and check back for our first installment! I am excited about the great ideas coming!

Yellow Squash Recipe

This time of year a lot of us have an abundance of fresh veggies, so I thought that I would share some new recipes for quick and easy dinners.

I love steamed yellow squash with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese also!

Have an awesome week!

Red Chair Planter

I love this chair / planter idea – We have seen many recently with flower pots in the chairs, but this is actually planted. Not sure where to find a chair to create a planter like this adorable red chair, no problem, we have several that has come into the store! Pick up a couple and get a jump for the next gardening season!

P.S. Don’t forget to share your pics with us!

Have a great day!
